The Rhetoric Gets Stronger

The trend is in place.  This is simply a warm up….

————————————————————–

“We are absolutely outraged. This is the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians,” she said.  “It’s time that the District of Columbia told the Congress to go straight to hell,” Norton continued after explaining how an attached rider to the latest bill prevented D.C. from spending its own money on abortions for low income women.  “If these Republicans insist that, if they don’t get the whole pie they’ll take the whole country down with them,” she continued, “then we have got to make them pay the price.”

————————————————————-

There is “a war on women,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says, and it’s being led by her own colleagues on the other side of the aisle in Congress.

————————————————————

“Speaker John Boehner is ready to shut down the government, including District of Columbia city services like trash collection,” it says on the page. “Well, if he won’t allow us to use OUR TAX DOLLARS to pick it up, maybe we should just BRING IT TO HIM.”

And finally….

“If You Try to Take Our Firearms, We Will Kill You”

Last December 14th Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed during an Arizona shootout with members of a Mexican drug cartel. But before the facts surrounding this murder could be buried with its victim, David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh brought the story to the American public. Working with contacts within the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), these men revealed what is now known as Project “Gunwalker”…

The investigative work they have done into Project Gunwalker and the ATF’s attempts to cover its tracks earn Codrea and Vanderboegh kudos from justice lovers and 2nd amendment supporters everywhere.

“I used to argue history, facts and common sense with such as you [a professor/anti-gun advocate], but gave it up as a bad job”, he writes of once being asked his opinions on gun control by a citizen disarmament advocate. And when asked by the fellow for a “short answer” summing up his views, Vanderboegh simply answered, “If you try to take our firearms, we will kill you.” “It boils down to that”, he continues. “If you try to take our firearms (liberty, property, insert any other God-given, inalienable right) we will kill you.”

This is why the Outlook is what it is.

This is THE issue that will define the next period in the history of this nation – the struggle between the states and the Federal Government.  The battle will be on many different fronts, but at its core, this is it – and it’s heating up.  For any of you who do not get Whistleblower Magazine, I highly suggest it.  It is one of my most anticipated monthly reads.

States of Rebellion

How legislators and governors nationwide are challenging a rogue president

While millions of outraged Americans protest what they see as a lawless and power-mad Obama administration, many wonder how much clout individuals can really have in reining in a wildly out-of-control government.

But suppose, in addition to citizens with little power beyond their vote, those standing up to the federal government were named Virginia, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Montana, Maine, South Dakota – and many more?

Incredibly, though under-reported by the establishment press, that’s exactly what is happening right now, as the April issue of Whistleblower documents in-depth, in “STATES OF REBELLION: How legislators and governors nationwide are openly challenging a rogue president.”

A wide-ranging rebellion is indeed under way – by a large majority of states – against what they claim are intolerable and blatantly unconstitutional encroachments by the federal government. And they are seriously intent on declaring such unconstitutional laws null and void in their state.

The insanity of Wal-Mart.

This is where it goes people.  If you are in an animated conversation on your cell phone in a Wal-Mart parking lot, prepare to have a S.W.A.T. team descend on you, pull you out of your car, throw you to the ground and lock you up.  After all, “We don’t take these things lightly.”  Question is, when will “we the people” quit taking things like this lightly?  This happened in my home state…

Report of armed man leads to lockdown at Wal-Mart

Kirksville Police filled the lanes of the Wal-Mart parking lot after responding to a report of an armed individual Wednesday afternoon.

Kirksville, Mo. —

A report of an armed man acting erratically in the Wal-Mart parking lot Wednesday led to the store being temporarily locked down before Kirksville Police responded to and defused the situation with no injuries.

According to Kirksville Police Chief Jim Hughes, a passerby stopped a Kirksville Police officer and said they had seen an individual acting erratically in a truck in the Wal-Mart parking lot shortly before 2:30 p.m. The passerby believed the individual had a gun to his head.

“We don’t take these things lightly,” Hughes said, “especially nowadays.”

States continue to push back.

Watch the trend friends.  Obamacare is a popular target now.  There are many more to come.  One that is just in its infancy is near and dear to my heart – sound money proposed by the states…

What if Washington made a law and nobody paid attention? Or even more significantly, what if states specifically repudiated it and threatened to prosecute those enforcing it?

The questions no longer are rhetorical but a real option as eight states consider a blanket nullification of the Obamacare nationalization of health-care decision-making advances in their legislatures.

“Thomas Jefferson advised, ‘Whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers … a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy,’” states the Tenth Amendment Center, which advocates a return to the constitutionally delegated powers for the federal government.

From our Constitutionally minded GOP.

People.  This is from our great saviors, the GOP, whom we sent to Washington to check the unconstitutional mandates coming from there.  This is the GOP that read the Constitution at the opening of business.  Obamacare is one of the most blatantly unconstitutional laws passed in modern history, yet read the first paragraph.  It won’t be challenged on those grounds, but  only on “strictly economic” grounds.

Good luck on the Tea Party thing…  Do you understand why I wrote what I did in my Outlook?  This is frustrating, but is only openers.

House Set to Launch Health Law Challenge

House Republicans, toning down their rhetoric slightly, plan to reset the debate over the health law repeal Tuesday on Capitol Hill, building a strictly economic case against “Obamacare” after pausing for a week out of respect for the victims of the Tucson shooting.

Virginia considers gold currency

This is a significant variable in the 2014 Outlook.  This is right on schedule.  Introduced in 2011, ridiculed as absurd, re-introduced in 2012/13, and seen as viable.

“In what may one day be heralded as the formal proposal that proverbially started it all, the Commonwealth of Virginia introduced House Resolution No. 557 to establish a joint subcommittee to “to study whether the Commonwealth should adopt a currency to serve as an alternative to the currency distributed by the Federal Reserve System in the event of a major breakdown of the Federal Reserve System.” In other words, Virginia will study the fallback plan of a “timely adoption of an alternative sound currency that the Commonwealth’s government and citizens may employ without delay in the event of the destruction of the Federal Reserve System’s currency” and avoid or “at least mitigate many of the economic, social, and political shocks to be expected to arise from hyperinflation, depression, or other economic calamity related to the breakdown of the Federal Reserve System.“  (emphasis in original)

Last Stop on the Freedom Train

You tell me what you agree with and what you don’t in this article.   This is indicative of Gadsden thinking.  You have to determine what you agree with and what you don’t.  Tough question?  It’s the tip of the iceberg.  My apologies for the links at the bottom.  Just don’t linger there.

Last Stop on the Freedom Train (full article)

It is clear from the rhetoric coming out of Washington DC, by the liberals/socialists/communists, that they think the repeal of PPACA, or Obamacare is a waste of time, ridiculous, silly politics, etc. What does this mean? They are scared to death of it. It terrifies them. Why? Because they know that if this is repealed, it proves two things: 1) that the people can reverse bad law (a thing they desperately refuse to acknowledge); 2) it would establish the power of the people.

See, the battle being fought is not between Obama and the Republicans, it is being fought between the government and the people. If Obamacare is repealed, the people win, a thing NEITHER of the political parties want to happen. Trust me, this is about power and NO ONE will ever relinquish power willingly.

Reject Obamacare

Obamacare is simply an issue to test the waters to find out where the land mines are in the nullification debate.  What they learn by probing rejection of Obamacare sets the stage for strategies for much more serious issues in the future – Ed.

Reject Obamacare: Permission not needed (full article)

by Lesley Swann, Tennessee Tenth Amendment Center

Pushing back against the unconstitutional overreach of the federal health care legislation is priority number one for many liberty and tea party groups in the Great State of Tennessee.  Many ideas have been floated by various groups throughout the country as to the best means of revoking the federal health care legislation.  Several interesting ideas have been proposed, among them are federal lawsuits, interstate compacts, and state nullification.

When one takes a critical look at these options, it becomes clear that all three of these options boil down to a simple question.  Do we ask permission from the federal government to undo Obamacare or simply undo it?

What does this say to you?

Listen to this.  Understand that this is the thinking of the Progressive Socialists.  The Constitution has “no binding power on anything.” The guy doesn’t even know that the Constitution is over TWO hundred years old. It reminds me of Pelosi’s response when asked if Obamacare was constitutional – “Are you kidding?”

Exploring the Meaning of Constitutional Conservatism

John Boehner, the next House speaker, expresses the message of constitutional conservatism in calling for every bill to identify the part of the Constitution it rests on. Sarah Palin used the phrase to campaign for limited government. Tea Party members call themselves constitutional conservatives. It is the new mantle in which Republican politicians are wrapping themselves.
